Please note that this job could pay up to $17.00 an hour depending on their qualifications and experience.
Will test and evaluate products and assesses if the product meets pre-determined performance & quality standards. Tests required parameters of electronic assemblies, circuit boards & x-ray systems using a variety of test equip. to ensure that they meet all required specs. Makes mechanical or electrical adjustments as required to meet quality specs. Uses high and low voltage test equip to conduct tests. Reads & interprets schematics to locate problems. Accurately record data on quality & performance. Identifies trends and communicates same to manager. Performs routine maintenance on dept. test equip. Associates degree in electronics or equiv. work exp. in electronic testing. Able to read engineering documentation, bills of material & schematics. Ability to operate test equip, ggauges & hand tools. Skill in assembling small component parts. Skill in operating a variety of gauges & air/manual hand tools and test equip. Good hand & eye coordination. Good manual dexterity. Able to stand for long period of time. Able to push/pull/lift a minimum of 35 pounds., twist, turn, bend and stoop. Must have an Associate's degree in electronics, 2 years of related repair experience or electronic testing or equivalent combination of the above experience & education/training.
