The Program Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE) is structured to support the GEHC U.S. region in constructing and delivering commitments to clients that require our business units to work together in non-standard ways to deliver both products, and an outcome to our clients. The PMCoE provides clear competitive differentiation by driving a structured approach to defining the measureable outcomes with our clients, aligning a project plan including installation of products, but also additional resources and work product that through a structured approach which will allow the clients to achieve their desired results. The PMCoE leaders work to facilitate the necessary resources and expertise to design a successful project plan and lead the plan, activities and client engagement to ensure efficient and effective activation of the project. The team delivers project commitments on time and exceeding the expectations of the client stakeholders. Typical projects are managed within a highly-matrix environment with complex deliverables.
The Executive Program Manager (EPM) will be responsible for coordinating significant, institute-wide, complex commitments to our clients beyond product installation. The EPM will function as project lead coordinating GE and Client resources to resolve issues, drive accountability, and deliver results on time and on budget. EPM’s are expected to anticipate challenges and roadblocks, and design plans to mitigate those risks.
Work with GEHC account community to deliver on engagements by leading development of a robust project plan, engaging appropriate expertise and support, and ensuring clear and concise communication. Deliver operational excellence within large, complex, strategic deals and assist in driving commercial growth objectives.
Act as point of contact and represent GE Healthcare Partners
Leverage knowledge of GE businesses to drive multidisciplinary projects across P&L business
Assist account team to drive growth in conjunction with region leaders, account community, deal hub, and service teams.
Coordinate project kick-off using PMCoE four phased program plan. Coordinate the GE team to facilitate client interviews, collection of key data, set benchmarks, and measure quantifiable data. Set up regular op metrics with key leaders. Take leadership role in driving accountability for QA metrics with staff. Manage project scope and mitigate risk across projects anticipating client’s needs and proposing alternative business solutions.
Drive collaboration and inclusiveness within respective sites. Outline clear objectives and deliverables assigned to the work group. Maintain flexible approach when faced with business or client course corrections. Implement Lean/CAP principals.
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience – leading complex projects across multiple functions and business units in a highly matrix environment
Demonstrated ability to create complex project plans, identify potential barriers, and develop contingency plans to ensure successful, on-time completion of project
Demonstrated ability to develop strong, impactful relationships with executive leaders at client sites and internal to GE driving strategic, long-term partnerships with the client
Strong analytical skills and business acumen (i.e. knowledge of healthcare service lines, Profit & Loss centers, balance sheets, capital & operational planning).
Experience working in the Healthcare industry including interaction with hospital administration (i.e. account management, relationship-building experience).
Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate clearly. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, able to multi-task and superior problem-solving skills.
