Job Description

The HVAC Field Supervisor is able to adapt to different personalities and experience levels in the department from service techs and sales consultants to installers and be able to create harmony in all interractions. The Field Supervisor is the resident expert for all techncial questions and ensures company quality standards are being upheld.

The field supervisor adapts to the needs of the department at any given time from resolving problematic calls and assisting with installations or service. The Field Supervisor ensures client satisfaction, assists with lead generation ideas to offset seasonality and supports management directives. The Field Supervisor sets the example for others in the department to follow. The HVAC Field Supervisor welcomes coaching to develop customer service, operational, and leadership skills.

Job Duties:

  • Provides technical support to associates in the field
  • Upholds company quality standards
  • Streamlines operational and communication flows within the department
  • Fills in gaps in field in service or install where demand dictates
  • Assess technical skills of new and existing techs and develops skills throughout department
  • Works with the installation coordinator to ensure sold installation jobs are perfromed efficiently and profitably
  • Ensure safe work habits are being exercised in field
  • Resolves warranty issues
  • Has a knack for providing great customer service

Job Requirements:

  • 3 years supervisory level experience in HVAC
  • EPA License
  • Possess an analytical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information to teammates and clients at a level they can understand.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Provides team support from the field
