Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required. Three to five years related experience in applicable manufacturing environment preferred but not required. Excellent reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required. Must be computer literate in the following software applications; AutoCAD, Adobe, Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet. Duties require professional verbal and written communications skills.
The Project Engineer will be responsible to design building configurations to code considering structural, electrical, HVAC, fire suppression, and other options as required by the customers purchase order. The Project Engineer will provide professional AutoCAD drawings that will be purposed for Customer Review (Marketing), submittal drawings for customer approval, drawings for State Approvals, and detailed manufacturing drawings for the shop floor personnel. The Project Engineer will be expected to design and create engineering products independently or with minimum supervision. The Project Engineer will provide production an accurate Bill of Materials to build and complete the purchase order.
The Project Engineer will maintain positive professional relationships and provide the necessary coordination between Engineering, Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing for the proper design and manufacturing of all client's products and brands. The Project Engineer will be responsible for designing client's products utilizing innovative and creative skills, and providing technical input and direction for others as required. Other duties will be required as assigned by the Director of Engineering. Reports to Director of Engineering.
