Role Summary/Purpose

Provide on-site and remote technical software installations and upgrades as well as site preparation and pre-sales. Effectively collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful customer outcomes. Responsible for customer satisfaction, consultation with customers and performing virtual work.

Essential Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities/essential functions include: • Provide remote and on-site technical installation/upgrade support. • Responsible for site readiness, installation, upgrades, site preparation and customer satisfaction, during the installation cycle as well as installation process improvements. • Complete all technical install documentation requirements within timelines provided. Takes the appropriate action in the event of a technical problem having an impact on the normal progress of the installation (alerts, cascade, etc.) • Complies with the Environment, Health and Safety systems and programs in keeping with GEMS rules, as well as the applicable ISO Standards. Quality Specific Goals: • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines • Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization. • Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization. • Ensure timely dispatch closure for all installation/FMI/upgrade records as required (if applicable) • Ensure completion of all field modifications instructions (FMI’s) within prescribed timeframe (if applicable) • Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military education or Associates Degree with 2 years experience servicing electronic equipment, or a High School Diploma/GED and 12 or more years experience servicing electronic equipment. • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process. • Experience with implementing large implementations and providing customer satisfaction and quality • Software experience with one or more of the following, Installation, support, Training or healthcare industry knowledge

Additional Elgibility Qualifications

Desired Characteristics

• Experience with large-scale project management where deadlines were met on or ahead of schedule; construction or installations experience preferred; • Experience in VM environment set-up and operating system optimization; • Experience in database set-up and scripting; • Demonstrated customer service skills; • High energy personality, that thrives working long hours in difficult and pressurized circumstances; • Time management skills; • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities; • Proven ability to orchestrate resources and motivate teams; • Strong written and verbal communications skills that can effectively communicate with a diverse workforce; • Ability to drive improvements in efficiency; • Ability to provide constructive feedback to installation team and contractors; • Knowledge/experience with the healthcare industry; knowledge of GE Healthcare products preferred; • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; other project management computer programs preferred.
