Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Proper use of PPE.

  • Promote safety in department.
  • Use proper lifting techniques and overhead hoist when needed.
  • Report all unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
  • Perform hand and body warm up stretches at start of each shift to minimize potential repetitive motion injuries.
  • Participate in hazardous communication training.


  • Responsible for the quality of their work.
  • Follow process control instructions, including blueprints, route sheets, first piece inspection.
  • Document critical quality information as necessary.
  • Fill out reject tickets.
  • Must be able to inspect the product prior to or in the absence of quality auditor and provide feedback.


  • Ability to perform required weld jobs according to blueprints and job packets.
  • Must pass client certification test.
  • Must have work experience or vocational training in mig and stick welding.
  • Accurately document work activities, including reject tags, acceptance tickets, job packets, issue tickets and labor cards.
  • Knowledge of measuring devices.
  • Enter on-line maintenance work orders.
  • Perform simple PM on equipment. 


  • Suggest and implement improvements.
  • Follow up on details.
  • Seek out productive work when assignments are completed.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall profitability of client..

  • Work with others constructively and abide by company policies and procedures.
  • Run jobs according to schedule and/or shop dispatch.
  • Teamwork will be required to be effective both in our daily production assignments as well as special improvement projects.


  • Work bench, tool box, area to be debris-free.
  • Must clean up area and keep the floor free of debris.
  • Daily clean up of your assigned work area.
  • Complete assigned housekeeping responsibilities.

Must abide by company policy on attendance.

  • Must start work on time and does not quit early.
  • Must be in the work area when scheduled and begin and end breaks and lunches on time.
  • Must pass our certification tests prior to working full time!

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform required welding jobs by reading blueprints and job packets.
  • Must have work experience or vocational training in GMAW Welding (MIG welding)
  • Must be able to accurately document work activities, including reject tags, acceptance tickets etc
  • Must pass client certification test.
  • Knowledge of measuring devices.
  • Prior fabricating experience is a plus.

$17.50 / Per Hour
Monday – Thursday
3:30 pm – 2:00am
Over time regularly on Friday
